There are 106 public Transit Companies in Canada, the smallest having fewer than five buses to the largest, Toronto, having 3,114 vehicles and Montreal 2,788.  In total there are more than 17,369 public transit vehicles in Canada [2010 statistics], not including ferries or railways.

According to Statistics Canada approximately 80% of Canadians live in urban centres. In real terms this means there is the potential to reach the majority of Canada’s 35-million people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ on an almost daily basis.

As a consequence of a 2009 Supreme Court ruling, Bus Stop Bible Studies is able to display its material on any of Canada’s public transit systems.
