1. God is a God of grace and love who is perfectly holy and perfectly just and desires that no one should perish. 2 Peter 3:9

2. Sin, in simple terms, is disagreement with God [opposition to and/or failure to obey Him] and is the basis for our separation from God. Genesis 2:15-17

3. Salvation is a gift of God received by faith, through grace alone as demonstrated by the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of God's son, Jesus Christ.  Works [good deeds of any kind] are evidence of, but not a requirement for, salvation. Ephesians 2:6-10

4. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are called to be the sowers of God's seed (his Word) leaving God's Spirit to work in the heart man, convincing the individual of his or her need to be drawn back into a personal and right relationship with God. John 6:44

5. We believe it is the duty of every follower of Jesus Christ to hate sin and love the sinner. We will not condemn any individual on the basis of his or her beliefs or lifestyle, nor will we commend any rule (law) or lifestyle that is contradictory to Scripture. John 8:2-11

6. We will publish nothing that is knowingly contradictory to the Word of God.  Acts 17:11

7. We will publish nothing that is intentionally designed to create conflict, strife or hostility. Our sole purpose is to guide people into a personal relationship with God, through his Son, Jesus Christ, and encourage them to grow in that relationship.  Matthew 5:9

Bus Stop Bible Studies are:

to preach good news to the poor,

to bind up the broken hearted,

to proclaim freedom for the captives*,

to provide release from darkness* for the prisoners,

to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour,

to comfort all who mourn,

to provide for those who grieve,

to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, a garment of praise instead of despair.
