As of 2007 Canadian transit companies have 11,805 buses and 1,431 subway, 531commuter rail cars and 521 light rail vehicles.

Below is a list of most of the Canadian public transit companies (BC and Quebec to be added shortly).  Choose your province and then town or city to find detailed information concerning your local transit company.  If your community has public transit but is not listed, or if you find any discrepancies in the list, please contact us so that the list may be kept current.
